English For Mathematic Education (part 2)

In the previous posting we have talked about the capability to communicate with English. They are speaking, reading, writing, expressing, hearing, translating and presenting. Afterall in order to capable in good communication we also need to expert, such as : grammar, tenses, word, sentence, adject, adverb, vocabulary. With all of that we can know all word that we can use for. Another that, we can do much better communicate. But to expert that it’s not easy. There need something like :
-Will
In studing English process, there is a moto “There is a will there is a way”. Without a will, when there is a little complicated we will surrender. Because of that, a will is primary capital for studing English. It’s can depend with someway such as: motivation, positive thingking, good preseption, high spirit and happiness.
-Atitude
With all what we have been studied, our attitude should be reflected of it. It’s can be extended by behaviour, attitude and action.
-Knowledge
Knowledge absoulutely we need as principle of what we say. Without that we will be confused. It’s contains understanding, concept, definition, etc. with that we can improved our capability.
-Skill
Skill needed to expert English. Skill can be improved by try, communicate, engage, collaborate, do, arrange, etc. it’s important capital but we didn’t must have skill when we want to studied English. Altought we didn’t have skill we can increased. If we have skill but we didn’t use it, it’s became useless.
-Experience
There ia a moto “Experience is a good teacher”, everything what we have got by our own experience will unforgettable. It’s because we have been trough by our self of that experience, not only just listening or hearing from another. Another that, not all thing have been written in a book so we must search by our self. That’s can be found by accumulation, strungling, effort, other contact, leading, continue, repeat, etc.

After we know what we need to communicate with English, we need to explain what mathematic is. Mathematic is one of science knowledge that we need in our life. It’s usefull to help our activities like when we shopping, in bank, when build a house, etc. it have been teached since we as a children. Since we speak, our mom will teach us abaout mathematic. She teach us to know about number. Not stop until that,when we in a school, it’s a necessary subject. Even, it’s one of a subject that tested in final examination in elementary school until high school.

In university, we will discuss about : formal math, axiomatic, and deductif math. It’s contains algebra, calculus, geometry etc. Altought some of that have been given in school, in university it’s discuss deeper and wider. Another the third subject, it’s also discuss about applied math. The applied mathematic containing of fungtion mathematic in another knowledge.

After we explain about English and mathematic, we also need to explain about education. Education is a teaching, learning, prosess. In here there are main element, teacher and student. In this process we also need the facilities such as silebay, curriculum, leson plan, etc.

So went we talk about English for mathematic education, we talk about the combinatioun of the three component that explained before. English for mathematic education is how english communicate the mathematic material in the teaching and learning process.
